Vintage Guitar Serial Numbers - Aria & Aria Pro II
In the mid-70s, serial numbers began to be used. They contained the date of manufacture. Generally the serial numbers were six digits.

Only the first digit indicated the date. Ex. 801301 = 1988

1987 & later
|
First two digits = year, second two digits = week of the year.
