Vintage Guitar Serial Numbers - Danelectro
Danelectros had three or four numbers in their serial numbers.
The first digit (or digits) represented the week of the year it was made. A guitar made in the first nine weeks would start with either 01-09 or 1-9 depending on whether it's a three or four digit serial.
The final digit represents the year it was made - these repeat every ten years. i.e. ###3 could be 1953 or 1963.
